Students in grades 4-7 can sign up for

Summer Reading Help

through the Hyannis Supporting Our Youth Task Force. Volunteers will help students choose, read and complete requirements for the Summer Reading Lists provided by the Barnstable Public Schools.

 

July 10th through August 16th

 

Tuesdays & Thursdays

 

11am-12pm Hyannis Public Library

 

4-5pm Hyannis Youth and Community Center

Email hysoytaskforce@gmail.com or call 508-258-9111 to sign up your child. Please leave child's name, age, grade entering in September, parent name, telephone number, phone and email (if applicable) as well as what days/times you would like.

The Hyannis Supporting Our Youth Task Force is providing:

Summer Reading Help for students entering grades 4-7

Students choose, read and complete assignments from the 

Barnstable Public School’s required summer reading list.

Summer Reading will take place on:

Tuesdays & Thursdays

July 10th through August 16th 

11am-12pm at the Hyannis Public Library 

4-5pm at the Hyannis Youth andCommunity Center’s United Cultures Resource Room

Children may feel free to bring a book or choose one when he or she arrives.

To sign up for this free service, email hysoytaskforce@gmail.com or call 508-258-9111, and list the days, times, parent contact information, children’s names and the grade in which he or she is entering in the September. Space is reserved for the first eight children in each time slot.

We have suspended weekly meetings for the Hyannis Supporting Our Youth Task Force for the summer--get out and enjoy the good weather.

We will have three meetings this summer:

Wednesday, June 27th from 4-8pm at the Hyannis Youth and Community Center to develop a budget and work on our 501(c)3 status
