Thanks for Visiting!

Hyannis Supporting Our Youth, Inc. (HySOY) was birthed from the Greater Hyannis Civic Association's Voices of the Village meeting in April 2011. With an active core membership, and many others willing to provide mentoring, the group is diverse in its strengths. Members include former or current educators and principals, pastors, business people, parents and grandparents. Each member has committed to supporting Hyannis youth through both existing programs and through the creation of new initiatives. Members work on Mentoring, Early Literacy Initiatives and Childhood Enrichment Opportunities to support our youth. We currently meet the first Tuesday of every month at 530pm at Faith Assembly of God (154 Bearse's Way) and new members and interested parties are always welcome. Please contact Sue Cwynar, director, at hysoytaskforce@gmail.com for more information or to volunteer.

Hyannis West Mentoring Program Info Session October 20

Donate a Set of Books for an Entire Class for $30

Did you know that our Early Literacy Initiative takes new and gently used books and gives them to students in grades K-3 at Hyannis West Elementary? You can drop them off at the school with a label of ‪#‎HySOY‬. Or you can buy them online at www.scholastic.com/readingclub and use the teacher code of PFF2H and they'll be directly shipped to HyWest. Don't want to shop? A $30 tax-deductible donation will buy a book for each student in one classroom! HySOY c/o Moira Bundschuh, Hyannis West Elementary, 549 West Main St, Hyannis, MA 02601.
